Based E-commerce Tarim Oilfield Supplies Distribution Business Processes Reengineering

Ever since 90's, with the rapid development of computer and IT technique, as well as the popularity of the internet, E-commerce has been stretching to various fields of the whole society. The most distinctive one should be the theory of process reengineering, provided by Hammer from American management field, which creates a good circumstance for the worldwide revolution of process reengineering.The logistics management under the E-commerce model is based on the informatization of logistics. This new kind of logistics is more informational, automatic, modern, and socialized, which not only reduces the overstock of inventory and capital, but also cut down the costs of material delivering, and improve the efficiency.Based on the practice of material delivery in Tarim oilfield, this paper generally introduces some basic concepts and the development of E-commerce, logistics, business process reengineering, as well as the impacts of E-commerce to logistics and process reengineering.
