Energy is the lifeblood of economic development. With the development of economy and society, especially after the 911 incident, the demand for energy is increasing day by day, which made the "energy diplomacy" and "energy cooperation" an integral part of the main diplomatic strategies.China and Russia are each other's largest neighbors. Russia is a major energy exporter country, and China is one of the world's major energy importer country, which makes it significant for them to strengthen their energy diplomacy and deepen the energy cooperation. Taking oil and gas for example, this article mainly illustrates the Sino-Russian energy diplomacy and cooperation under Putin's Administration from five aspects.The Introductory Part mainly explains the research background, status and significance of the energy diplomacy and energy cooperation.Chapter I explains China's Energy Diplomacy mainly from four respects: (1) the background of China's energy diplomacy, strategic goals and ways of realization; (2) Russia's energy diplomacy; (3) China's energy diplomacy to other countries; (4) the characteristics of China's energy diplomacy.Chapter II, is about "Russia's Energy Diplomacy", which mainly explained four topics: (1) the background and objectives of the Russia's energy diplomacy; (2) Russia's energy diplomacy; (3) Russia's energy diplomacy in other countries; (4) the characteristics of the Russian energy diplomacy.Chapter III, "Sino-Russia's Energy Cooperation" is the focus of this article, which mainly discusses the Sino-Russian energy cooperation before and during Putin's administration and analyzes as well as summarizes the Sino-Russia's relation and energy cooperation in these two periods. This part especially exposits the two country's energy cooperation after Putin took his office.Chapter IV is about "The Analysis and Policy Proposals of the Prospects for the Sino-Russia's energy cooperation and energy diplomacy." Based on the previous discussions, Special attention is paid to the specific analysis and discussion of the Sino-Russia's energy cooperation from four aspects: (1) problems; (2) analysis of reasons; (3) suggestions; (4) the prospects for the development.In the Conclusion Part, this article first further explains and summarizes the...
