China's Natural Gas Price Of Research And Policy Recommendations

Natural gas is a kind of clean and good energy sources, and is also one of the most important three energy sources with coal and petroleum today. At the same time, the proportion of natural gas in the world energy structure is ascending. Many countries have taken some measures to restrict natural gas's price and trade. This thesis will focus on the analysis of natural gas's price policy and the factors that can influence the price such as energy structure, supply and demand, policy and worldwide trade. Chinese government takes strict price administrator, so natural gas's factory price and pipe price are decided or supervised by government.This thesis will use software named Minitab14 to make a regression analysis to natural gas's price. Based on a lot of data, we discuss the relationship between natural gas's price and alternative energy resources including petroleum, coal and electricity. The most important thing is that the price linkage model is build. Furthermore, this thesis also compares the equivalent thermal price between natural gas and alternative energy resources.In conclusion, natural gas is a clean energy resource and it has wide prospect. However, our price system has not been build. Natural gas's price is lower than other energy resources. Natural gas's price so lower that it cannot show the natural gas's value.
