In order to intensify the coal development, enhances its coal production, Pingshuo Coal Industry Company chose Mayingpu minefield as the company new coal development project. This minefield located in northwestern of Shuozhou, in which has 8 minable seams including 4#,4下#,6#,8#,9上#,9#,10#,11#. The underground water flow regime of the minefield area, in which has a lot of roof faults and complex construction, will change when the coal is mined. It may lead to roof caving or water-inrush, even destructing water. So it has important reality meaning for researching the effect on water resource of coal mining, especially the effect on the underground water flow regime.According the existing exploration data, combined the mining area material, author states the condition of area geology and hydrology geology. On this basis, author used GMS to build the solid of the study area and simulated the model. The simulation includes the underground water flow of Mayingpu minefield before mining and the forecast of the situation of underground water flow after mining. The forecast revealed that the 4# and 9# minable mining will not affect Cenozoic pore water. The fissure water of Permian Shanxi group and carboniferous Taiyuan group of Mayingpu minefield will be completely unwatering. Ordovician karsts fissure water will affect strongly to mining. Flow supplies upward of fissure confined water of Taiyuan group will cause vast unwatering when mining 4# minable. Since the head of confined aquifer of Taiyuan group was down through the 4# minable mining, unwatering quantity of which all the minable were mined will be the same with that of which the minable was mined alone when the 6# and 9# minable are mined. It's worth noting that the unwatering quantity is large at the beginning of the mining, and as unwatering in the aquifer it will be gradually reduce.Through the work discussed above, combined the research of the precursor, paper analyzed the principle the coal mining destroyed water resource and effect factors of destroyed scope and level. Author thinks that it included hydrology geology condition, the character of geological construction and the scheme of coal mining.
