At prensent, meshless method has become research hotspot at home and abroad in scientific computing. As a kind of meshless method, meshless local radial point interpolation method uses weighted residual form on local sub-domain, allows the weight function from the different space, does not need additional background grid since the integral on the local sub-damain. It is a true meshless method. Meshless local radial point interpolation method is a new numerical simulation method, has been reported rarely at home and abroad in the field of hydrogeology.On the analysis of the weighted residual method in solving differential equations and point interpolation method, this paper constructs meshless local radial point interpolation method of two-dimensional steady and unable groundwater flow from the local Petrov-Galerkin method and the radial point interpolation shape function starting, designs the procedure flow chart of the structure of meshless LRPIM method and draws up procedures of calculating two-dimensional problem. Based on these studies, the meshless local radial point interpolation method are applicated in the two-dimensional stable and unstable groundwater problems, get satisfactory results by simulation using Matlab. Examples show that the local radial point interpolation method not only can improve the calculation accuracy, but also has strong adaptability, can provide a reference for the engineering design of groundwater.In this paper, a meshless local radial point interpolation method's results will promote the development and research of the meshless method.
