As a rapid and economical method , AEM has been widely used in areas such as geophysical exploration, geological mapping, mineral exploration, hydrogeology, engineering geology and other areas of exploration and environmental monitoring. Currently, airborne electromagnetic measurement system, method of theory and data processing and interpretation software development has become research focus, this article relies on the countries of the 863 major projects, "Air geophysical exploration system " of the sub-project "Pod time domain Helicopter airborne electromagnetic survey and system design theory "to study the time-domain airborne electromagnetic method of data preprocessing techniques. This research may improve the capacity of resource exploration of the electromagnetic method and has a certain academic value and practical significance. It is conducive to narrow the gap of our research in this field with foreign countries.Based on the sub-project that data processing , method of basic maps preparation and software development, The time domain AEM data processing has been studied in the research. The main research achievements as follows : On the basic of studying the development of AEM and research status on its theories, and according to the basic principles of electromagnetism, firstly the paper studies the data characteristics and the common noise characteristics. In order to remove the noise, many methods have been used, such as the high-pass filter, wavelet decomposition and reconstruction method. For time domain airborne electromagnetic data measured with a variety of Interference such as severe noise and disturbances, which caused that interpretation is not high when the resolution of data processing is done and even lead to the potential problem of false anomalies. In order to solve these problems, aiming at improving the signal to noise ratio of late time observation data, the paper studies the application of wavelet threshold de-nosing and median filter in the airborne time-domain electromagnetic method ,de-noises and analyzes the theoretical response with noise data, which provides technical support for the accurate processing of measured data. Second, the paper has learnt and studied profile data of the airborne electromagnetic ,principles and methods of spectrum analysis and magnetic interface depth calculation. In the data processing of Aerogeophysical, data leveling is a very important part. The paper has learnt the project Comrade Jin "virtual cutting line leveling method", which is elaborated. During the meeting "second-generation high-precision measurement of airborne geophysical survey" .The paper gives a brief introduction to theory of "virtual cutting line leveling method".Based on the above theory, the paper built airborne electromagnetic data processing system architecture. .NET and C # language are mainly used in the overall framework . The paper initially completed the preliminary preparation of the user interface and part of the processing module. Using this system, some of the data for the theoretical simulation were processed. About the AEM data processing running program, parameter settings and the configuration file are complex.In order to regulate airborne electromagnetic data processing, a lot of work for development data processing system continues.
