The Middle Beier Depression is an important oil and gas exploration area. In this paper, Under the guidance of sequence stratigraphy, sedimentology theory and by using seismic data, well logging data, core, etc., conducted a detailed study on the Damoguaihe Formation of the Middle Beier Depression in sequence stratigraphic framework and depositional system. The Damoguaihe Formation of The Middle Beier Depression is a super-sequence, this study identified the LST, the TST and the early HST, middle HST and late HST and 11 order sequences.Determine the main sediment types during each sequence of the studied area by explorat ion well cores and well logs, and identify the various seismic reflection structure and distribut ion, to delineate the distribution of various facies. Study period from LST to HST ,the sedime ntary characteristics in the fault slopes in Western Basin and slope of basin northeast and the lake center, and topography and fault control on deposition.Combined with the evolution of the stratigraphic sequence, the dominant sedimentary fac ies distribution of the order sequences and sandstone thickness characteristics, Damoguaihe gr oup were predicted such three kinds of lithologic traps, fan-delta front sandstone updip pinch out trap, delta sandstone updip pinch out trap, delta traps out continuation lenticular sand trap.According to characteristics of the reservoir-cap Damoguaihe Formation is divided into three sets of reservoir-cap combination...
