On the basis of systematically collecting and collating plentiful document literature and previous research results of the study area, I have carried on more than once geological survey, core observation and description, systematically sampling and instrumental analysis, the comprehensive application And sedimentology, reservoir geology, modern petroleum geology theories was synthetically used on the basis of outcrops, logging and lithologic material to divide and contrast the lithostratigraphic units in Carboniferous-Permian of Zhoukou depression according to sedimentary cycle characteristics.Detailed research was carried on about the Carboniferous-Permian sedimentary environment of Zhoukou depression, three sedimentary environment:epicontinental sea, shallow delta depositional and rivers- lake environment were analyzed in the researched area, I elaborate various stages of sedimentary characteristics according to sedimentary periods sequence, and research in detail the main sandstone reservoir sedimentary characteristics, sedimentary environment and the influence on the formation and accumulations of the oil-gas.The petrological characteristics, diagenesis, porosity evolution characteristics and reservoir characteristics of the sandstone reservoirs in this area were detailedly analyzed, indicating that sandstone reservoir of the southern North China basin in Carboniferous-Permian belongs to density type, and evaluation result shows poor - very poor. Diagenetic fracture and structural micro fracture were developed, which play a certain ameliorative role in the physical properties of sandstone reservoir.I preliminary analyzed the characteristics of cap rock and its development in the study area, and determined the evaluation parameters, deciding the sealing capacity of oil-gas cap rock as high-extremely high, analyzing the soure-reservior-roof features.
