Reservoir heterogeneity on oil and gas accumulation, development, distribution and reservoir formation plays a crucial role. Therefore, description of reservoir heterogeneity has an important significance in oil exploration and development.In this paper, the geological model of Shu-2 distract was established, which is located in the west slop of Liaohe depression, the bank of Shuangtaizi River. In this model, two fault systems was identified, which formed by gravity and tectonic movement. This field consists of many microfacies which is characteristic of delta front sediments with competent rock and bad propertiesThis paper has utilized some reservoir parameters,combined with core analysis data,described some research methods of reservoir physical properties and its heterogeneities at present,analyzed the influence factors of reservoir heterogeneities,and given some correlation parameters about describing reservoir heterogeneities and the key in application. It has provided scientific basis for reasonable development of oilfield.The Shu-2 area in the east of the regional statistics of Dujiatai reservoir sandstone density and stratification coefficient showed that the study area, different fault block heterogeneity degree is different, the overall performance of the strong heterogeneity in the north than in the South than in the west, strong heterogeneity. Interlayer remaining oil is mainly distributed in the distributary channel and distributary mouth bar microfacies; because of Dujiatai reservoir delta distributary channel formation reservoir in sedimentary sequences are mainly positive rhythm characteristics, sandstone layer residual oil mainly distributes in the middle and upper part of reservoir developed in low permeability reservoir; in the plane, shunt near the line and well control the poor parts of the distribution of the remaining oil between wells in the oil well, slightly side position is relatively rich in residual oil, residual oil due to the influence of sedimentary micro facies are mainly distributed in the distributary channel and distributary mouth bar facies.
