From the beginning of the philosophical coming, ancient sages started to discuss what is "truth". Especially in the time of modem philosophy later, the truth is considered as the essential questions of epistemology and become the focus from discussions of philosophers. From the earliest correspondence theory of truth which emphasize whether the proposition or judgment is conform to the objective facts, and the coherence theory of truth which refers the truth shows the relationship among a series of propositions, to the later pragmatic theory of truth that invest the significance of truth by actual effect. These different forms are the major forms of traditional truth, which recognizes truth as the binary choice logic depended on the results scientific studies common hypothesis. These are not getting deterministic analysis in the study of the truth. Based on this case, this paper attempts to deeply study the contextual theories of truth. Based on the characteristics the core idea and significance of the context of truth, this paper explores to build a bridge for communication between scientific and humanistic scholars and get complement to the contextual theories of truth. This text analyses the contextual theories of truth from its reference, feature and significance. From coherence theory of truth and pragmatic theory of truth to the correspondence theory of truth referred by Martin Heidegger and Hans-Georg Gadamer in the modern time, Philosophers acknowledged the truth questions as the reveal to the world's essence or the satisfy to the subjective desire, therefore, which could not give a faithful and natural representation of scientific research. In this sense, the contextual theories of truth do become the new choice. Truth is not only the result of scientific research, which is single and seldom purely objectivity. The contextual theory of truth recognizes the truth as the goal of scientific pursuit and considers the consequence of scientific research as the understanding to the subjectivities. The formation and improvement of the theory carry on in certain context.Based on the main features of the contextual theories of truth which contains relativity, and compared with the correspondence theory of truth and many constructiveness even relativism and the truth, the contextual theories of truth couldn't lead to anti-realism or relativism. It insists the stand of realism. In the essential sense, it is different from traditional realism which expounds theory questions from the subjectivity. It starts points from the unity between subjectivity and objectivity, then set questions from the pursuits improving objectivities. Therefore, the contextual theories of truth not only avoid the extreme actions which gasp the subjective factors existed in scientific research and totally denied the scientific subjectivity like social constructivism or many anti-realisms, also are favorable to combine organically existing truth theory about subjectivity, then make these truth theory become differently one side or flank.the contextual theories of truth which starts points from admitting that scientific research always contains subjectivities and reveals deeply objectivity, is connected with pragmatic theory of truth. It keeps the unity of subjectivities and objectivities and expounds questions to improve objectivities. Not only the objectivity of scientific cognition uphold, but also socialism and constructiveness of scientific knowledge are accommodated. The contextual theories confirm the true objectivity of know ledges. At the same time scientific subjective elements are into the developing progress of scientific theory. The contextual theories integrate opposite factors to science to the overall knowledge, and provide effective way to understand truth in this condition of rapid development of modern science and knowledge.
