The earthquake prediction has been studied and exploried by scientific researchers. As soon as the quake happened, first of all you need to make sure the strength of the earthquake damage; for different types of building at every area, it is important to understand its degree of destruction after the earthquake; the property damage and casualties also need to be appraised; all the things provide reference for the relief work.Constructing the fast and efficient earthquake damage prediction and loss evaluation system is the purpose of this paper. A single building as the research object, according to the first when the earthquake happened the building's geographical location to determine the size of its peak acceleration, a procedure using interpolation method of drawing peak acceleration earthquake isoline, and on the basis of the building conversion get earthquake intensity. Then the earthquake damage prediction of the single building need to be done, this article summarizes the innovation:the determine of influence factors, quantitative impact factor, screening impact factor, determining unknown building earthquake damage level. Finally the prediction of the single building can be gat. The new method uses the integrated index method to get quantitative values so that different types can be compared; Using the principal component analysis method to simplify screening impact factor and reduce the difficulty of the investigation; Use Fisher' discriminant method to judge the level of damage about the unknown building damage. Finally the casualty and property loss situation need to be calculated, now the whole process of earthquake damage prediction is complete.This article through the wenchuan earthquake field acquisition data for the theoretical verification, earthquake peak acceleration isoline map and the official results very close, unknown building earthquake damage prediction of the results and the theoretical method and a half experience completely consistent results. In this paper according to the misjudgment, and using the analysis of typical elaborately analyzed, and put forward the direction to improve. In addition, the new method itself has much to optimization of place, from the data acquisition, the influence of the KMO value and the choice of influence factors. This paper introduces the improving method.
