On the basis of gathering research area material and predecessors' achievements, taking full advantage of drill date, seismic data, coal field data, comprehensively using coal geology, stratigraphic geology, seismic interpretation and tectonic geology, I have analyzed the coal-bearing stratum and accused of coal factors of LuXiBei area, on which basis restoring prototype basin was carried on, and the direction of coal exploration was finally pointed out.Research on the structural feature, division of coal-bearing stratum, and geophysical field feature found that pale climate change was the primary cause of the north china plate's coal-accumulating processes in Neopaleozoic dieing out in the late Permian and coal-bearing strata gradually raising southeastward and coal-accumulating processes moving southeastward; After Caledon, North China Platform has formed to unsymmetrical fault-depression basin, showing the characteristics of the south and north are land, west bulge-east pour and relatively flat basal. All these characteristics produced great paleogeography advantage for the deposition of coal-bearing stratum and coal-accumulating processes in Neopaleozoic; Paleostructure movement shaped the North China to large coal accumulating basin and controlled the sedimentation and coal forming in Carboniferous-Permian, which were turned into the main coal-forming period.Through the analysis of ancient plants, paleoclimate, geography and ancient structure, I study the characteristics of the coal basin in LuXiBei area, analyzed the influence of later fault activities on coal seam, and I come to a conclusion that the two-way graben superposition area goes against coal exploration due to the deeply buried coal, in the two-way horst superposition area coal was eroded so that it cannot become the coalfield exploration targets, but in the uperposition area of graben and horst, the coal was completely preserved and appropriate buried of right depth, where is the coalfield exploration's main goal.Through these researches on the formation, development and exhibition rule of coal-accumulating basin, it is concluded that coal series was thick in the middle and thin on both sides in LuXi area. Finally the restoring of prototype basin of LuXiBei area was discussed in depth, through the explanation of type section exploration YiHeZhuang sag and ChangYi sag are pointed out to be main potential host coal belt.
