Oil And Gas Accumulation Conditions And Favorable Area Prediction In Binxian Depression

At the beginning of1950s, Chinese oil workers have started working on the explorationof Songliao basin and have made many achievements in the course of oil and gas exploration.Songliao basin, as an important petroliferous basins in China, has developed from the shallowlayer to deep layer, from the center to the edge of the basin. Exploration work in Binbei areaof Songliao basin also carried out. As an larger depression of Binbei area, it is important to dosome necessary exploration work.Based on studying the structural and sedimentary background and making full use of thestudy area geology, physical exploration, well logging and all kinds of analysis data, we havestudied all kinds of hydrocarbon accumulation conditions including source rock condition,reservoir condition and seal condition by petroleum geology, sedimentary petrology,geochemistry and geophysics and predicted the favorable areas by scientific and reasonablemethod in Binxian depression. It's recognized some conclusions in the process of research.①the source rocks of Yingcheng group are mainly not or poor source rock, but it is better forindividual depth of source rocks, kerogen type is Ⅲ type in a mature stage; the source rocksof Shahezi group are mainly poor source rocks, but it's better for individual depth of sourcerocks, kerogen type for Ⅲ or Ⅱ2type in a mature stage, which mainly produce oilcondensate-moisture stage; The source rocks of Huoshiling group are mainly poor sourcerocks, but in individual depth for a good or for best source rock, kerogen type is Ⅲ or Ⅱ1type in a mature stage, which produce dry gas.②The most favorable reservoir facies zone aremainly the braided delta facies and fan delta facies in which sand body is development andthe scale is large. A better reservoir is mainly distributed in the littoral and shallow lakedistribution area, distribution range is very large. The most advantageous reservoir of Shahezigroup and Yingcheng group is mainly distributed in the west slope and south slope area ofBinxian depression.③As regional cap rocks, mudstone of qingshankou group and quantougroup is of good closure to oil and gas. Yingcheng group and the top of Shahezi group are thelocal cap rocks under the oil and gas, the cap rocks with effective sealing ability are the faultof Binxian depression.④There are eight accumulation favorable traps selected from the twosets of source-reservoir-cap combination in Binxian depression. and two of them distributed near the Bincan1well, and one located near Xindianzhen fault, the rest of the large areadistributed between Binxian fault and BinxianⅡfault.
