Oil And Gas Distribution And Expanding Reserves Exploitaiton Of Wa76Wellblock

Liaohe Depression is a typical composite field, oil and gas accumulation of whichcontrolled by multiple factors, such as structure and lithology. Many reservoir types exist,including structural hydrocarbon reservoir, lithologic hydrocarbon reservoir, stratigraphichydrocarbon reservoir and buried hill hydrocarbon reservoir. After years of exploration anddevelopment, Liaohe Oilfield is in higher degree exploration. Blocks relative large have beenbasically proved already, while some broken structures and complex geological conditionregions are less explored. This has been a currently important goal for exploration to increasereserves. At present, rolling exploration to increase reserves is important for reserves andproduction increasing in Liaohe Oilfield.Wa76wellblock in south Dawa field of Liaohe Depression is in reserves blank, withcomplex structural faults and unclear reservoir distribution law, although sporadic producingwell, but the oil and gas distribution law is not clear. According the practice of scientificresearch and production, with fine interpretation of3D seismic structure, formation finecontrast and well performance analysis, this paper re-implements fault location, structuralform, reservoir and gas/oil distribution characteristics of Wa76wellblock. Combined with thewell test performance and comprehensive evaluation of traps, this paper also presents rollingexploration well placement. Expanding reserves exploitation of this region has been realizedand exploration results significantly. Practice has proved that the use of seismic, geologic andproduction performance information to carry out comprehensive geological studies is aneffective means to implement geological features of complex geological body and to realizeexpanding reserves exploitation.
