Numerical simulation system of oil-gas-bearing basin, which is one key way to makepetroleum geology quantitative, and includes the simulations of geohistory, thermohistory,hydrocarbon generation history, hydrocarbon expulsion history and hydrocarbon migrationand accumulation history, is a new technology developing in recent 10 years, however, 3-D tectonic stress field numerical simulation of hydrocarbon-bearing basin, being aimportant part in hydrocarbon expulsion and migration and accumulation histories, justbegan and will have considerable significance in the quantitative research ofhydrocarbon expulsion and migration and accumulation histiries, and in reasonablelyinjecting and pumping, avoiding or resolving oil-well casing damage and searching forresidual oil, etc. in oil field, and petroleum geologists will put more and moreattentation on it at home and abroad, therefore, this paper is an article on newtechnology and its application.The 3-D present tectonic stress field numerical simulation of Zhangqiang Depressionusing Super SAP finite element program and its application in hydrocarbon explorationand exploitation research were made by author, and main results and knowledge are asfollows:â‘ The methodology of 3-D tectonic stress field modeling of hydrocarbon-bearingbasin was primarily determined with some improvements of the post-and pro-operationfunctions of Super SAP;â‘¡With the analysis of rock fissure coefficient and shapedeformation specific energy, the research method of fissure developing extent on thesurface, in the middle interface and at the bottom of any aim layer in hydrocarbon-bearing basin was probed and the application of 3-D tectonic stress field in primaryhydrocarbon migration was basically established;â‘¢By the analysis of hydrocarbonmigration potential field, the analysis method of hydrocarbon migration potential fieldof any aim layer in plane in hydrocarbon-bearing basin was probed, and the applicationof 3-D tectonic stress field in secondary hydrocarbon migration was also primarilydetermined;â‘£After the analysis of fissure developing extent and hydrocarbon migrationpotential field of J3sh, J3jf, J3y in Zhangqiang Depression, Sandu anticline belt,Keerkang oil field, etc. are considered the first-class hydrocarbon-forming areas, andthe south part of Qijiazi depression, etc. the second-class hydrocarbon-froming areas,and these are basically in agreement to the other results with some new knowledge andconclusions.
