Exploration and development is a continuous process. It includes4working stages ofpre-prospects, evaluation, productivity construction and hydrocarbon prodution. The maintasks in the evaluation stage are submitting proven reserves in pre-prospects stage, or makinguse of various approaches to evaluate the reservoir when important discovery occurred inpre-prospects, and evaluate the economic value of the reservoir development, then submit theproven reserves for the reservoir with development value, and finish the developmemt projectdesign.S buried hill lies in Damintun depression of Liaohe oil province which is the importantevaluation block of the oilfield, and it will become an important area to conduct provenreserve report and productivity construction in the next coming years. Good reservoirevaluation will provide reliable geologic basis for oilfield protential production increase.Evaluation stage is a main combination point of explation and development, therefore, variousexploration and development methods are must be fully used in this stage. In this paper, acomprehensive study of reservoir evaluation on S buried hill is carried out guided bystructural geology, petroleum geology, petrology and mineralogy, logging geology byadopting a combination of multi-disciplines and multi-technologies method. The results shows that the main hydrocarbon-bearing interval of S buried hill isArcheozoic buried hill formation, the structure is extremely crack, the buried hill is controlledby NE fracture, and the block is further comlicated by near EW normal fault, it is mainly inNE-SW shape which is high in north and low in south. The reservoir lithology is complicated.Leptite, shallow grain migmatite, mixed granite, compound gneiss are the main reservoirrocks, and petrophysical property is poor, belonging to low-porous, low-extremely lowpermeable reservoir. The reservoir is fractured massive structure reservoir, and the oil layermainly developes in300m below the buried hill surface. The reservoir of Archeozoic buriedhill is widely distributed overally, and the reservoir thickness varies a lot with the buried hillposition and shape, reservoir develops in the high position, and effective reservoir thickness isgreat. This comprehensive study of reservoir evaluation on S buried hill can implement theOOIP of this area, which provide a guidance for the further overall development.
