The technique of tobacco stem expansion and pelletization is a new method of Tobacco stem processing in recent years. In this study ,we product granular tobacco stem used ESP equipment to complete the applied research. We researched the processing medium of producing granular tobacco stem. In the same time we studied the influence of stem's quality used different parameters in producing the stem. And also we finished the study of the product yield. The major part in this article is study the effect of the stem used in cigarette blend. We have get the influence of cigarette physical indicators, the smoke index and the sensory quality of cigarette using the tem in cigarette blend.In this study we have done the analysis the influence of overheating steam and nitrogen two kind of medium in the process. finally we selected superheated steam as expand medium. Study found the grain's filling value can reach 9.2 g/cm3 used steam blasting method.In the stem producing process , temperature and time of increase temperature and pressure is main parameters. The results showed that: different parameter can not only affect filling value, will also be impact to stem color and sensory quality of cigarette . filling value and sensory quality of cigarette is negatively correlation. Therefore, this study discusses both the sensory quality of cigarette and filling value of process conditions.Through the inspection data we discover: steam and blasting method Tobacco stem expansion granulating finished output product yield about 60%, lower than the traditional processing method of Tobacco stem out into rate. Its reason for dry Tobacco stem for steam explosion dust of relatively serious, but steam blasting method Tobacco stem expansion can use traditional Tobacco stem in processing cannot use short stalks, waste terrier, can avoid effectively tobacco raw material waste, from this perspective, gas blasting method Tobacco stem processing improve the comprehensive utilization of the material.The main part of this study is verify the analysis of the stem used in cigarette blend, and study the usability. Judge the difference in physical indicators, the smoke index and the sensory quality of cigarette used different stem . The result shows: under not changing the rolling conditions, all cigarettes single weight are greatly reduced, hardness increase, draw resistance increases. This indicate that using the stem can increase the filling value. Compared with the normal all samples'proportion of carbon monoxide an tar are obviously reduced. The larges reduce the rate of CO is 12.9%, and the tar is18.8%. Meanwhile nicotine in cigarette have no obvious change. This indicate that using the stem can reduce the tar and ham. Results of sensory smoking show that offensive odor of cigarette used the stem is slight increased. But In some respects the samples is better than normal product.Research results show that gas blasting method of tobacco stem expansion techniques have relatively broad prospect of application, and can satisfy dropping harm and tar, increasing harmony and maintaining wet of the current tobacco industry proposed.
