Tobacco stem separation device is a kind of device can be isolated from waste available material, can achieve saving energy and reducing consumption, increasing economic benefits. Paper with "industrialization in hunan province colleges and universities cultivate project(12CY011) as the backing, to stem wire separation unit as the research object, combining the theory of separation of suspended and inertial separation theory, by using the computational fluid dynamics CFD commercial software FLUENT software to numerical simulation of the device were studied systematically cigarette-rolling machines under different wind power system and variable condition, stem wire wind device separation efficiency, the results of the study have positive sense to cigarette-rolling machines to save material, the main research work and achievements are as follows:(1) the numerical simulation method is adopted to stem wire separation plant model for gas phase and particle phase model is simulated, the separation device of the gas phase flow field and sign and the trajectory of the particles of tobacco stem, plant air velocity in full compliance with infarction sign and the separation of tobacco suspension speed requirements.
