In recent years, with China's rapid development of economy, the road construction in mountainous areas have flourished, but at the same time the road construction by environmental problems also emerged. How to take effective measures to prevent or reduce road environmental pollution, and restore the ecological environment is a long-term and arduous task which places in the vast road workers. At present, mountain area's expressway construction still remains in the "first construction after green, damage to resume after" stage. Its root is we ignored the ecosystem of road region with the biological characteristics. The main purpose of freeway territory ecology restoration is to protect, improve and restore the original eco-environment, but in current freeway territory ecology restoration project, many factors restrict the realization of this target. As the foundation of the other work, plant community design and plant security technology will promote the further research of other factors and realize the sustainable freeways development together.The paper bases on the issue of roadbed construction ecological protection technology research in the Wushaoling area. Environmental characteristic and reasons for the formation in the northwest arid fragile biota are analysed. Mechanism of vegetation for slope protection, plant community design and vegetation security technology of slope ecological restoration are discussed. At last, this thesis regards K2393+254~K2393+500 cutting slope as the research object in the fragile biota of Yongdeng-Gulang expressway. The principle of shrub and grass combination of slope ecological restoration is put forward in the fragile biota of Yongdeng-Gulang expressway. At the same time, mechanism of slope protection, mechanics calculation of stability construction technology and contrast to other method of slope protection for vegetation plate of vegetation security technology are discussed.
