Soft-measuring techniques are mainly used in industrial processes real-time estimation, fault redundancy, intelligent calibration and multiplexing process control and has become one of the hot areas of research. The problem that it is difficult to directly measure water cut can take an indirect measurement techniques. Soft-measuring techniques in the application of measurement of water cut great advantages.The successful development of Coaxial line water cut meter achieves a dynamic measurement of oil and water two-phase flow. Instrument has good resolution and accuracy. But according to the complexity of oil and water two-phase flow and the complexity of the instrument response, the instrument response of the coaxial line water cut meter not only relates to the well water content, but also relates to the temperature of oil-water mixture, formation water salinity and current state of the two-phase flow. Water cut measurement and interpretation of accuracy needs to be further improved.This paper mainly includes the following: summarize crude oil water, the development status of logging tools and interpretation, and the development of coaxial line water cut meter, and then elaborated further study the need for measurement and interpretation. Analysize the development status of soft measurement technology and technical advantages, research on a variety of modeling methods of soft measurement technology, summarize the modeling methods of soft measurement technology that suit coaxial line technology. Research on electromagnetic wave propagation characteristics in the coaxial line and the measuring principle and parameters of coaxial line sensor. Based on the measurement principle of coaxial line moisture meter and the research of flow characteristics, combine the theory of soft measurement technology and measurement mechanism of coaxial line water cut meter itself, and found model of soft measurement that based on the measurement mechanism of coaxial line water cut meter. According to measurement and interpretation model, determine the measurement and interpretation method of the coaxial line water cut meter. Develop the coaxial line of instruments measuring water rates, do a lot of laboratory tests and field trials to test, evaluate instrument performance, and solve the actual questions of the high water cut oil wells.
