The Liaohe Oilfield Jin 16 block reservoir has been developed about twenty years since it began to be exploited at 1979. It used the water flooding ways in the early phase, there was large adjustment of the series of strata and the injection-production pattern during the meantime. And the relationship between the water and oil is rather complex.The paper described the geological characteristics of the reservoir, and getting the oil reserves of layers. According to evaluate the effect of water flooding, this paper reached conclusions as follow: the exploration is at a higher level than the design index, the flooding recovery ration and the efficiency standards for the injection water are high and the comprehensive water content is under good control, the reservoir pressure at the moment is high which satisfy the EOR, the fluid produce one day is excessive, the balance of the injection-production pressure system, the well pattern is perfect and the degree of the flooding control is high.We got the historical fitting with the reservoir numerical simulation, analysis the rule of oil-water movement, the saturation and distribution of remaining oil, saturation of oil by now, the watered out degree in the layers and the remain recoverable reserve. Then we get the question and the direction of the development.At the end, this paper compare the different combination schemes of layers to choice the better injection-production intervals between wells and well patterns, and observe the results. To optimize the displacement pattern, analysis the work in the experimental region, adjust the daily routines of the old wells, evaluate the economic benefits of the chemical flooding, we finally identify the scheme of surveillance and the implementation demand hoping to obtain great economic benefits in the actual mines.
