Gemini surfactants are a new generation of surface active,have attracted considerable attention in surface chemistry domain.Gemini surfactant molecules with two hydrophobic chains and two hydrophilic chains Compared with the conventional surfactants which has one hydrophobic chains and one hydrophilic chains The paper designed and synthesized a novel carboxylate surfactant with two carboxylic acid chains and three polyacrylamide chains base by the structural features of the conventional surfactants.N, Nˊ,N〞-three dilauroyl-diethylenediamine-sodium diacetate (DSDP) was synthesized with ethylenediamine,methacrylate and lauroyl chloride by displacement reaction and acylation reaction addition,soap reaction.And study the reaction of reaction time, temperature,molar ratio and yield. Structural characterization response with DSDP of structure by used the Infrared spectra.By using the volume -drop method,surface tension of aqueous solutions was determined at 25℃. And calculated theΓmax,Amin,⊿G0ad,pC20,л. Carboxylate Gemini surfactant compared with the traditional surfactants,had excellent surface activity and low critical micelle concentration. the cmc of DSDP was 0.90mmol/L,γcmc was 27.8mN/m.The bubble properties of the DSDP were determined by stir. With the increasing of the concentration,foaming performance and foam stability were enhanced. Around the cmc, the foaming performance and foam stability were almost unchanged; In the low and high temperature the product foaming performance and foam stability showed different change rule .With the increasing of NaCl concentration, firstly, foaming performance and foam stability were enhanced, then decreased. In 2000 mg/L,there is a peak.The wetting properties of DSDP was determined. With the increasing of the product concentration, the contact angle of the hydrophobic surface and the hydrophilic surface were reduced. the hydrophilic surface was more hydrophilic, the hydrophobic surface became hydrophilic by wetting reversal. According to "group number" method, the DSDP of the HLB value were calculated.DSDP on oil sand adsorption isotherm is"S"shape. Compare to conventional surfactant, DSDP surfactant has lower surfactants adsorption loss.
