Air drilling is a drilling technique using the air as cycle medium, it can improve the penetration rate, reduce mechanical drilling cost and protect reservoir, so air drilling be developed and used widely in oilfield. But air drilling alse have its own limitation as other drilling technology such as sidewall instability, formation water and underground bums, etc. The problem of formation water has impact the air drilling technology development seriously, there are half walls have to transform into conventional drilling way. In order to solve the problems effectively, guarante wells are drilled smoothly, every oilfield is studying to solve bottleneck problem of formation water seepaged into wellbore. This paper studies forecast the formation water quantity during air drilling and carrying water technology research determines filtrational mode of formation water is linear belong to darcy in denglouku of daqing oilfield. Established air drilling water quantity prediction model, based on percolation mechanics, this model can predict total amount of formation water when seepage into wellbore during air drilling accurately. Established the calculation process of air carrying water quantity, it can calculate the water value of air circulating and carring out of well. When air drilling drills in aquifer, people can take measures timely according to the calculated value of seepaged water and the value of air carrying water quantity, prevente the underground complex effectively caused by formation water, reach the purpose of preventting sidewall instability and mud circle stuck drill, so air drilling will have broad prospect for development in oilfield.
