The palladium-catalyzed Hiyama cross-coupling reaction of 2-trimethylsilyl pyridine compounds with aryl chlorides were studied in this thesis as follows:1. To find the optimum condition,6-fluoro-2-trimethylsilyl pyridine and 4-chloroace tophenone was chosen as the model reaction to examine the influence of diffierent cat alysts, ligands, fluoride sources, additives, solvents, temperature.2. Under the optimized reaction conditions, Palladium-catalyzed Hiyama Cross-coup ling of 2-(trimethylsilyl)-6-fluoropyridine with a range of aryl chlorides,4-chloro benzonitrile with 2-trimethylsilyl Pyridines were studied.
