With the development of society, diseases of mental are more common. Amisulpride (C17H27N3O4S), a substituted benzamide derivative, is a second-generation (atypical) antipsychotic and is effective as maintenance therapy in patients with schizophrenia. So it has been widely used in clinical in Europe even in all the world. This paper studied on the solid-liquid phase equilibria, volumetric properties, and the related thermodynamic model of amisulpride.Some basic data such as solubility, density and viscosity have important significance on the synthesis, separation, and understanding of the properties of amisulpride and are absent. The mole fraction solubility values of amisulpride in water+methanol, ethanol, acetone and dimethyl sulfoxide four binary mixtures were measured at temperatures range from 278.15K to 308.15K at atmospheric pressure. Densities and viscosities of the systems of amisulpride +methanol and amisulpride+acetone were measured in a temperatures range from 278.15K to 308.15K and composition range.Using a laser monitoring observation technique measured the solubility data of amisulpride in water+methanol, ethanol, acetone and dimethyl sulfoxide four binary mixed solvent. Using the Two parameter equation and Three parameter equation through the origin of data processing software successfully related the experimental data. The corresponding equation parameters and the percentage deviation between the fitted value of equation and the experimental values were obtained.Using Pycnometer method and capillary method measured the densities and viscosities of the systems of amisulpride+methanol and amisulpride+ acetone. According to least squares method, using Matlab of the data processing software successfully associated density and viscosity data by Vogel-Tamman-Fulcher equation, and obtained the corresponding equation parameters. At the same time, the volume properties of the apparent molar volumes and standard partial molar volume were calculated based on the density data of two systems of amisulpride mixed solution;The research results including corresponding model equations and equation parameters, provide the fundamental data for the thermodynamics study about amisulpride. Also it provided the important reference data for the development of technology of amisulpride production and basic of process optimization.
