DuPont Dow chemical company developed the POE with confined geometry configuration catalyst technology (CGCT) and INSITETM technology, and this kind of new-type thermoplastic polyolefin elastomers had controlled structures and excellent mechanical properties and weather resistance and processability. In this article, we mainly studied three different contents of octene POE:POE8540, POE8150, POE8842, and found that with the content of octene increased from 14% to 44% in POE8540, POE8150 and POE8842, the crystallization forms transfromed semi-crystalline polymer to elastomer. The result of tension experiment revealed that the elongation at break of POE8540 POE8150 POE8842 were 940%,943%,2000% respectively. Then we studied the PE100/POE blend system. After blend with PE100, the crystallinity of three different POE were improved, especially POE8150 and POE8842.The different scanning calorimetry (DSC) studies revealed a good compatibility between POE and PE100. At last, from the study of POE8540/CNT system, we found that POE8540/CNT formed fibril-linked-disk structure, which was similar to the classic "shish-kebab" polymer crystals, as first observed in the 1960s by Geil and Reneker ("Hedgerow") and Pennings. This structure enhanced the interface interaction, thus, it was able to provide the system with excellent performance.
