As we all know, man-made and natural emissions of SO2 and NOX is the formation of acid rain or acid deposition, said the "culprit." Therefore, SO2 and NOX control of man-made emissions of acid gases such as the importance is obvious. China is the world's largest coal producer and consumer. Subject to the constraints of domestic energy resources, China has formed a coal-based energy consumption patterns. By 2010 the national thermal power installed capacity will reach about 500 million kilowatts, about 1.3 billion tons of coal consumption, the new generation of 5.6 million tons of sulfur dioxide. If you do not take effective measures, the country's electricity emissions of sulfur dioxide will be more than 20 million tons, China's atmospheric environment will be overwhelmed. Therefore, the reduction of sulfur dioxide emissions from thermal power plants of total SO2 emissions becomes the focus of control. "National Economic and Social Development Five-Year Plan" proposed in 2010, sulfur dioxide emissions reduced by 10%. Therefore, the horse power to respond to national call to protect the environment, reduce sulfur dioxide emissions, to be on the technological transformation of the desulfurization unit№8.This paper first introduces several different FGD technology, expounds the operation in Matou power plants and the current pollution and discharge situation, analyses the desulfurization project construction conditions; Secondly detailed introduce the desulfurization process and use analytic hierarchy process method (AHP) to choice the best desulfurization process scheme of Matou power plant№8 units; Finally, established the desulfurization project efficiency index system according to the actual situation of Matou power plant№8 units and evaluated the project efficiency results using the fuzzy comprehensive evaluation method.
