Ambrosia ragweed is a quarantine pest in our country,harmful to biology, agricultural production,human health and damage the ecological balance,so it have a title of "plant killer".At home and abroad,the research to ragweed mainly concentrated in the comprehensive prevention and control,and essential oil from Ambrosia ragweed seldom reported. In this thesis, we carried on the preliminary study to the extraction process of Plant essential oil from Ragweed and measured the biological activity. The research methods and the results are as follows:1. The methods of extraction process of Plant essential oil from Ragweed was implemented,adopt Three Factor Three Level uniform design.The best extraction process condition is in the material liquid 1:4, soak 5 hours, and under the condition of extracting 6 hours, namely 200ml water was added to 50g leaves from Ragweed,used steam distillation to distill about 6h. Extract the distillation liquid with ether, the concentration of oil is highest.2. Plant essential oil from Ragweed has some inhibition effect on 4 kind of pathogenic fungi with the method of growth rate. The result showed that the antibacterial activity of extracts were different. And the best antibacterial activity was Sclerotinia scleotiorum with the 88.69μl/L. Secondly for Fusarium graminearum and Colletotrichum gleoesporioides. While the worst antibacterial activity of Sclerotium rolfsii with the 712.63μl/L.3. Leaf disc method was used to determine PierisrapaeLinne, Prodenia litura with plant essential oil from Ragweed.The results showed that PierisrapaeLinne, Prodenia litura angaist ragweed essential oil, both present strong refus feeds activity, and the rate of refus feeds increase as ragweed essential oil concentration. In addition, the rate of refus feeds of PierisrapaeLinne, Prodenia litura increase as Measuring time.4. The method of filter oil residue method was used to determine tag activity of PierisrapaeLinne, Prodenia litura. Results show that PierisrapaeLinne, Prodenia litura to plant essential oil from Ragweed has high tag activity, along with ragweed concentration of essential oil and the measuring time.5. PierisrapaeLinne, Prodenia litura have very obvious fumigation role to plant essential oil from Ragweed.As the concentration of plant essential oil and the time of measuring extension, PierisrapaeLinne,Prodenia litura mortality present different fumigation activity. Different concentrations compared to matched group are obvious, and the fumigation activity of PierisrapaeLinne was higher than Prodenia litura.
