| As the Tarim oilfield is explored to the extent, it was found that South Tarim oilfield has complex geological structure, faults, poor reservoir properties, high heterogeneity, and complex reservoir type characteristics. These factors severely limit the development and deployment for this area. Although the reservoir effective thickness of 19-34 block is very high, and it has large dip angle (around 15 ~ 22 o), due to the highly heterogeneity, this oil field has the characteristics of low porosity and low permeability.Firstly, the project did research on the effective water flooding management for 19-34 block in South Tarim Oilfield in terms of natural energy evaluation, found that the natural energy is limited, and cannot satisfy the development needs. In order to get more efficient development, we must increase the formation energy. Secondly, the detailed geological model of block 19-34 was established, based on the history matching results of numerical simulation the existing water injection parameters (production pressure difference, production-injection ratio, the injection strength, production rate) was evaluated, and the best injection time was determined. In order to improve the injection profile, we applied stratified water injection technique to make the production stable, and studied the injection stratified layers, water injection time and its effect on the reservoir development. Finally, considering the imbalance of the injection wells and production wells, the small number of injection wells does not meet the requirements of balance injection. And because of the formation energy supply shortage, the injection system adjustment program was applied to improve the injection system, and increase the water injection sweep efficiency. 4 injection-production system adjustment programs are proposed and economic evaluation is given to select the best adjustment program.The research of this topic is particularly important for the future development of this oil field, it is promising to provide basis for decision making for the development and deployment of South Tarim oil field. |
