| In this thesis, an efficient and simple protocol for the synthesis of 1,2-diketones by palladium-catalyzed oxidation of disubstituted alkynes was described. In addition, its mechanistic studies were also discussed. The reaction proceeded smoothly in DMSO as the solvent at 120℃under air by using Pd(OAc)2 and CuBr2 as the catalyst and co-catalyst, respectively. This catalytic system could tolerate various functional groups, affording the products in moderate to excellent yields. All the products were characterized by 1H NMR,13C NMR, and new compounds were also characterized by HRMS. |
