This paper has researched basic principle and structure theory of diffuse fiber-optic temperature sensor, analyzed its working principle and designed the basic structure. The diffuse property of diffuse board is tested which is core part in diffuse optical fiber temperature sensor.This paper has established basic experimental method which can be used in diffuse property testing process. It also has tested and analyzed the four kinds of materials'diffuse property. According to the experimental results, the conclusion is obtained that diffuse property of different materials is relevant to surface characteristics, but relevant to wavelength by comparative analysis of diffuse board surface material prepared by PTFE. Put forward concept of continuity of the smooth curve, design index accord to the change of anisotropy. Do quantitative analysis for selected diffuse materials.
