Metal-organic frameworks (MOFs) are multiple net work structrue, crystalline materials that have gathered increasing attention owing to their high surface areas, large pores, and chemical tunability. The ability to synthesize a wide range of MOFs has made them attractive materials for applications in gas separations, sorption, and catalysis, special on be a type of chiral materals. In this paper, Two coordination polymers were synthesized with 4,4'-bipyridine, the compounds were characterized. Multiple acid is selected as the bridging ligand to construct a serial compounds, their structes are characterized and analysis.1. coordination polymer [C10H14CdN207S]n was synthesized in ethanol/H2O system with 4,4'-bipyridine, the compounds were characterized by elemental analyses, IR, thermogravimetry, fluorescence spectrum, X-ray powder diffraction and X-ray crystallography diffraction, present 1D helical chains along c axis by hydrogen bond, which are bulk chiral as evidenced by the observation of signals in vibrational circular dichroism (VCD) spectra, the compounds might result in generation of chirality by the further study of VCD calculation of compound.2. coordination polymers [C10H18CuN2O9S]n synthesized in ethanol/H2O system with 4,4'-bipyridine, both present 1D helical chains along c axis by hydrogen bond, but the VCD spectra are not same, we compare the two compounds, and we study the fluorescent emission spectum of the two coumpund.3. Multiple acid play an important role on construct porous, crystalline materials. Carboxyl group have multiple condination mode, maybe construe interesting net works. We sythesis a serial compounds, nuc-22, ncu-24, ncu-25, were characterized by elemental analyses, IR, X-ray crystallography diffraction, and we study the fluorescent emission spectum.
