In this paper, Moso bamboo(Phyllostachys pubescens), a monopodial species that is richest both in area and harvest yearly in China, and Dendrocalamus giganteus, a simpodial bamboo species with larger diameter, were used as experimental materials, and aspergillus niger, aspergillus oryzae, penicillium citrinum, trichoderma viride were chosen to be the mold mildew. A variety of fungicides such as fluoro phenol mixture, phenol mixture of boron, ACQ mixture, bromogeramine mixture, ZJFC-I and Huake-108 were tested to determine which was most efficient and low-toxic for outdoor bamboo flooring. In accordance with the experiment, a few of results can be gotten as the follows:1. Fungicide treatment is divided into physical and chemical method, and the later was used in this paper. The specimens were manufactured by 3 methods, i.e.①bamboo slivers were impregnated both in fungicide solution and adhesive and then hot pressed into a board②bamboo slivers with adhesive were hot pressed into a board first and impregnated in fungicide solution, and③fungicide solution was directly brushed on the surface of specimens. After comparison of the anti-fungal effect, a conclusion can be gotten that both method②and③were good effective, and in method③, it is necessary for good mould proof effect to use higher pharmacy concentration compared with method②. Regarding method①, we did not choose it in following tests because of much worse effect in the same concentration with method②. In other words,2 treatment methods, i.e., specimens of bamboo board impregnating in fungicide solution and the surfaces of specimens were brushed with fungicide solution, were used in following experiments.2. A series of indoor mold-resistant experiments treated by fungicide impregnating and brushing, for bamboo scrimber were carried out. It was found that ZJFC-I and Huake-108 have better anti-mold performance among above 7 fungicides As a result, ZJFC-I and Huake-108 were chosen as the main mildew preventive and further experiments such as mold-resistant efficiency, drug absorption, fixation ratio and the resistance of wastage after two weeks were accomplished by using ZJFC-1 and Huake-108 so as to optimize the fungicide concentration(ZJFC-I1%) and the treatment procedure. An aim is to put forward a theoretical basis for the anti-mold of bamboo scrimber outdoor flooring.3. Dealing with impregnating and brushing of ZJFC-I and Huake-108, the fixation ratio, mold-resistant efficiency, resistance of wastage and the change of moisture two weeks later of Dendrocalamus giganteus bamboo scrimber were studied under the condition of simulating mildew outdoor environment for two months4. Using scanning electron microscopy (SEM) and fourier transform infrared spectroscopy (FTIR), the anatomy structure and chemical composition before and after mildewing of both bamboo and bamboo scrimber specimens made of Phyllostachys pubescens and Dendrocalamus giganteus were analyzed. By comparing the change of components, the protective effect of ZJFC-I and Huake-108 were analyzed and summarized.
