Laser cladding, as a branch in many areas of laser application, is a new surfacemodification technology, in which the pre-selected cladding materials can be placed on thesubstrate by different way, by high-energy laser irradiating, the cladding materials are fusedonto the substrates surface, then cladding layers of good metallurgical combine were obtainedon the substrates'surface, thereby improving or restoring components and extending theiruseful time.Based on 1Cr18Ni9Ti steel for research object, this paper conducted research on thetechnics of laser cladding Ni-based alloy on the 1Cr18Ni9Ti steel surface and themicrostructure, hardness, wear resistance and other comprehensive performance. Byorthogonal test parameters for different laser power compared overall performance claddinglayer, choose a better ratio of laser cladding parameters. Then studied the ameliorative statusof the capability and microstructure of Ni-based alloy with hardy particles WC rare earthoxide CeO2, Mo laser layers. In this thesis, ANSYS, which is finite element simulationsoftware, was used to numerically simulate the temperature field in the laser cladding of1Cr18Ni9Ti steel after cladding Ni-based alloy.Analysis of cladding layers show that microstructure of cladding layers is prominentlyrefined compared with the substrate. Microhardness is increased prominently comparing withthe substrate, but distribution of the hardness is inhomogeneous and peak value of thehardness was appear of cladding layers. The hardness and strengths of cladding layers areincreased remarkably. Strengthening mechanism of cladding layers mainly include refinedcrystaline strengthening, solid solution strengthening, hard phase strengthening and so on,which leading to the result.Under the optimum ratio of process parameters, the hardness of cladding layers ischanged little but the wearability is greatly improved after adding hardy particles WC toNi-based alloy. Crystal grain can be refined and the hardness, the wearability are improvedafter adding rare earth oxides CeO2.Under the optimum ratio of process, sensitivity of the crack of cladding layers is reducedand the hardness is decresed slightly but the wear resistance is improved after adding Mo toNi-based alloy, and the cladding layers have excellent overall performance.
