Electrolyte lead-acid battery waste sulfuric acid, is a kind of Pb-based, containing a variety of trace inorganic components of toxic waste and organic components, but also a potential sulfur. By maintaining the physical and chemical properties of waste sulfuric acid electrolyte under the same sulfuric acid solution to achieve the purification of heavy metals of lead, the present study on lead-acid battery electrolyte of sulfuric acid waste composition analysis, using adsorption purification method to study the adsorbent Type and adsorption conditions on the adsorption purification of lead. On this basis, the purification of natural zeolite adsorption kinetics and thermodynamics of lead mechanism and proposed regeneration scheme. The main results are as follows:1. Spent sulfuric acid battery electrolyte composition of complex. Among them, the solution can detect elements including Pb, As, Fe, Cr and other, both inorganic substances such as lead sulfate, including oil and other organic matter.2. While maintaining the same physical and chemical properties of waste sulfuric acid electrolyte case, the natural zeolite removal efficiency of lead as high as 84.75%, to meet the requirements of industrial application of sulfuric acid.3. Adsorption kinetics study shows that waste of natural zeolite on the adsorption of lead in sulfuric acid electrolyte, the initial step by the membrane diffusion control, until liquid disappears, the particle diffusion is the control step. Adsorption kinetics equation to meet the second dynamic equation, kinetic constant of 2.5166.4. Thermodynamics of adsorption showed that the waste of natural zeolite on the adsorption of lead in sulfuric acid electrolyte, the process to meet the Langmuir isotherm equation, different initial concentrations, adsorption processes at different temperatures and enthalpy△Gads are negative, the adsorption process is exothermic and Can occur spontaneously.5. Natural zeolite desorption - regeneration experimental study shows that nitric acid can be used for experiments on zeolite desorption. And a desorption - adsorption capacity was 1.0711mg / (gl), the second desorption - adsorption capacity 1.0623mg / (gl), maintained a good adsorption characteristics of the original zeolite. Desorption solution containing the lead by adding sodium sulfide precipitation of heavy metals into the solid phase will be used for further treatment and disposal.
