Based on the analysis of domestic and foreign die casting markets, this paper recommend die casting company to use digital and visual simulation tools to optimize their design , analysis process and eliminate wasteWe firstly used Magma casting simulation software to evaluate the product structure in this paper, and then designed the initial mold layout according to the simulation results. We can analyses to predict product defects, mold design flaws through visualization and digital filling, pressure, speed, solidification, temperature, air entrapment and other process simulation results, and then we can systematically optimize mold design, product structure. So that we can be eliminated the die structure design defects, product defects at the design stage, Magma casting simulation software can also optimize the process parameters, and production equipment selection, and ultimately we can build the optimized mold. So we can eliminate the previous experience design to minimize repeated changes, repeated trial-out, but also to maximize the control of the new product development costs.Using simulation software run and simulate to make products in a virtual manufacturing environment, so it can enhance the product "manufacturability", thereby reducing project risk, lowering development costs, reducing operating costs and shortening the development cycle, so Magma soft can provide quality assurance for future production. And as the company's long-term plan or strategy, the company can continue to improve existing products mold by Magma soft for further laying a solid foundation of lean manufacturing, cast simulation can provide technical support for lean foundry, and it is necessary design methods and tools to improve and enhance the casting ability of market competition.
