This article describes the history of development and developmenttrends of the disc, highlights the importance of organic optical storagematerial on the optical storage development, and the development of organiclight-storage material. In order to develop the organic optical storagematerials, Six kinds of amino compounds, and two kinds ofβ-double-ketones preparation of the12kinds of Schiff base complexessynthesis process is described in this paper. And Schiff base ligands werecharacterized by NMR spectroscopy. By UV spectroscopy and thermalgravimetric analysis to understand the Schiff base ligand and the Schiff basecomplexes material optical properties and thermal properties. Study Schiffbase complexes in the application prospects of organic Blu-ray opticalstorage materials, draw some meaningful conclusion.a) To do a literature review for the history of development and research of optical storage. Disc replacement from the historical perspective of thedevelopment, all with optical storage materials development is closelyrelated to the material, As optical storage material most commonly usedorganic optical storage materials, the development of the development ofnext-generation organic light-storage material on the disc has anindispensable role in promoting;b) Amide and β-double ketones Synthesis Schiff base complexes. Throughthe analysis and selection, the selection principle is simple, easy tooperate, less polluting, can be applied to industrialized mass productionof Schiff base complexes;c) By UV spectral analysis of the Schiff base ligands and Schiff-basecomplexes, the study indicated that the complex structure affect the UVabsorption wavelength of the Schiff base complexes. With differentstructures, looking for the ultraviolet absorption in400nm near the Schiffbase complex material in the application of organic Blu-ray opticalstorage materials have important implications;d) By thermo gravimetric analysis of Schiff base complexes, research withthe thermal decomposition of performance. That the Schiff basecomplexes can be thermal decomposed, and some materials haveconsiderable thermal stability (Appropriate decomposition temperature) and narrow the decomposition temperature range. The necessaryconditions provided by the nature of the Schiff base complex materials inoptical storage materials.
