The Sandwich structure composite is interested by researchers because of its lighter weight, higher specific strength and a series of functionality. With a wide range of sandwich structure in engineering, especially in the aviation, aerospace and marine areas, the analysis of its mechanical properties, structural design and calculation is deepening. In the thesis, the corrugated sandwich construction and lattice sandwich structure are elected as the research object, and their equivalent mechanical model is derived and verified by the way of analyzing and summarizing of the existing theories.Firstly, the representative unit cell is selected by the analysis of the characteristics of the sandwich structures, and the equivalent expressions of elastic modulus is derived, including the Young's modulus, Shear modulus, Poisson's ratio and density.Secondly, thesis establish the finite element model of the sandwich structures and calculate their mechanical properties by the large general finite element software– ANSYS. By selecting specific geometry and material parameters to calculate the modulus of elasticity of the sandwich structure. The result is compared to verify the equivalent mechanical model is reasonable and accurate.In addition, thesis do the related experiment of the sandwich structures to measure their elastic modulus. Measurement result is compared with the theoretical result to verify the correctness of the equivalent mechanical model, in order to ensure its feasibility.Thesis can draw conclusions from the result of computer simulation and experimental research that the equivalent mechanical model of corrugated core sandwich structure and the lattice structure is accurate and practical. The established equivalent mechanical model provides a solution for the prediction, design and evaluation of the sandwich structures. It has great significance in the design, preparation and application of composite sandwich structure.
