The Research Of Odor Pollution Early Warning Emergency Engineering

In recent years, the numbers of odor pollution sources and odor pollution events are increasing rapidly, along with the high growth of economics and urbanization process. Odor pollution becomes a serious environmental and social problem, mainly attributable to various chemical industries, sewage disposal plants and garbage landfill sites, coupled with the unreasonable urban planning and industry layout. However, it is difficult to reveal the rules of odor diffusion with dilution, because of the complexity of odor components and its widespread sources as well as other influencing factors (i.e. meteorology, landform, hypsography, etc.). Odor pollution has been one of the hot and most difficult problems that nagging the environmental management department. This paper studied the method and the index of the odor pollution early warning emergency, the pollution degree division as well as the odor pollution forecast model. The research results may provide the reference for the establishment of the odor pollution early warning emergency system.This article analyzed the present research situation and development trend of domestic and foreign odor pollution as well as environment early warning. It makes a suggestion of the concept of odor pollution early warning emergency system, which can be divided into two kinds source based and receptor based according to the characteristics of odor pollution. The relationship between odor concentration and odor intensity was analyzed. Based on the Webber-Fechner formula, the odor pollution classification was made following a six stage of odor intensity. This article proposed the recognition methods of odor pollution sources in research foundation of source apportionment techniques, providing the reference for the environmental management department to distinguish the odor source of pollution accurately. In this paper, the odor pollution forecast model was established based on the research of Gauss diffuse model, and the influence factor of odor pollution dispersal was researched according to the nature and the characteristic of the odor pollution.Base on the above research, this article designed the management system of odor pollution early warning emergency from two aspects, which are the framework of Odor Pollution Early Warning Emergency System. The function and constitution of using subsystem for early warning subsystem was discussed, the method as to construct the odor pollution early warning emergency system was proposed. The odor pollution early warning emergency management system can simulate the transfer tend of odor pollution in atmosphere, forecast pollution incidence and tend of odor concentration accurately, and intelligent determine the grade of pollution suggesting the corresponding contingency plans.
