| In the era of modern technology, high-precision processing power of modern precision machining technology as a means to play an irreplaceable role. High-end electric processing equipment is the cornerstone of the key technologies which quickly realize industrial production or rapid develop modernization of national defense. It dominated process that WEDM and EDM machining process as the two branches of power in their respective areas. Both of which play its advantages, at the same time, the shortcomings appeared constantly. Today, WEDM can only use its line cutting electrodes, but the more or less inseparable from the auxiliary EDM processing in the process requirements. The EDM machine has excellent processing quality characteristics, which only have an anti-copy processing function, if leaving specific mold tools cannot independent processing. It is the point of research that how to combine the advantages of both WEDM and EDM in order to make up for their lacks. Therefore, according to the WEDM auxiliary function is designed in this issue. After a lot of information on research and experimental evidence, to design the composite system for hole, WEDM have self-piercing or the use of mold for forming the function. So WEDM has a multi-functional processing characteristics, to independently wire-cutting processing and simple processing, simplified the electric processing device.Firstly, from the processing principles and techniques, it provides theoretical basis for the design of composite system wire-cut perforation on the analysis of the universality and individuality for WEDM and EDM. Analyzed emphatically the processing principle and characteristics, it makes a better integration in accordance with their characteristics. Secondly, from the design concept and technology parameters and the performance requirements of each part, the paper puts forward the whole design that has club-shaped electrode and line of multi-function perforation institutions electrode perforation. Then, in order to solve the need for micro-fabrication, it deploys online grinding mechanism.
