Research On Zr And Zr Alloys Electrical Plastic Rolling Esperiments

The plasticity of material reflect the ability of material produce plastic deformation,strength is the ability of material resistance permanent deformation and fracture underexternal force. From the microstructure, we known that strength is through block thedislocation motion to enhance, but plastic deformation require dislocation motion, so therehave inherent contradictory between strength and plasticity. Research shows that,through the method of grain refining, material both have the possibility of high strengthand big elongation, there already have literature reported that through serious plasticdeformation can preparation out sub-micron grain, and even nanometer ultra fine grain.Serious plastic deformation methods have great potential and development in changingstructure organization and material toughening.Zr alloy have prominent radiation-proof, corrosion and high temperature resistantperformance, widely used in nuclear power construction and aerospace. The main objectof study of this paper is the Zr and Zr alloy, and do the experiment research of the Zr andZr alloy electricity plastic rolling and serious plastic deformation, in hopes that can getgrain refinement, and material can get high strength and the plastic ability.Comprehensive of the existing research, this paper established the plastic rolling testequipment independently. In the process of build experimental system already solved theproblem of circuit connection and insulation, circuit polarity selection, the impedance ofthe circuit adjustment, parameters testing. through this we have got had high strength andgond plastic samples.This proved that the of electrical plastic rolling system is feasibilityand reliability.After testing the equipments of electricity plastic rolling, on this system Zrand Zr alloy have been made the electrical plastic rolling experiments under differentelectrical impulses process parameters. At last, analyzes the influence law of the pulsefrequency, pulse width, current density on rolling force and rolling sample.
