With the continuous exploitation of high-water-content oilfield, crude oil oilfield and deepwater oilfield, the traditional demulsification technique has been unable to meet the requirement of crude oil dehydration and wastewater deoiling. It is necessary that the corresponding treatment apparatus should be more efficient, energy saving and environmental protection. In order to solve certain key scientific and technical issues of microwave demulsification, theoretical and experimental research must be carried out for experimental and theoretical research.A high water content of crude oil and oily wastewater treatment effect by microwave was studied, firstly, and the dehydration rate and deoiling rate were analyzed. The demulsification mechanism of emulsion was theoretical analyzed and determined the impact of the key factors in emulsion stability. These key factors for emulsion experimental study of microwave demulsification mechanism were carried out. The results showed that microwave treatment can increase the interfacial tension of crude oil, reduce crude oil viscosity, increase the dispersed phase particle size, decrease Zeta potential of diapersed phase, and reduce the absorbency and turbidity. Buit a microwave and electric heating dynamic contrast system, the demulsification effect of microwave and electric heating under dynamic experiment was studied, and analysed the impact of flow state, processing power, settling time on the demulsification and energy consumption. The results showed that microwave demulsification had the virtue of improved emulsion broken, oil-water separator time saving, and always influenced by processing power and flow state during the experiments while electric heating was affected by processing power and settling time. To the emulsion by adding a certain concentration of NaCl can effectively promote the microwave demulsification while electric demulsification had little effect. Finally, the application test in oilfiled of microwave enhanced demulsification device was researched, and the results showed that improving the microwave processing power had played a positive role on the final demulsification effect. Large flow combined with a small power was a more energy-efficient by comparison of experimental results.The research results of this paper provide certain technical parameters and basis for field application of microwave demulsification technology in the petroleum industry, and laid a firm foundation to achieve high efficiency, energy saving, environmental protection, crude oil emulsion demulsification.
