As the huge development of the industrial and economic, countries in the world are facing energy shortages, the development of new energy sources, and finding new ways of saving has been the concern of the world. Porous metal materials also have some features, such as lightweight, versatile, designed and so on. Which Heat transfer and resistance only meet the other features but also that have good heat transfer performance. Enhanced heat transfer properties of porous materials analysis and research, and its structure-based design optimization of heat transfer, has important theoretical significance and application value. There are some shortcomings of traditional methods of porous metal materials, it can't meet the economic development and emerging industries'requirements for heat transfer materials. Gasar porous material has received attention in the international with its unique preparation process and heat transfer characteristics, the current preparation of Gasar porous metal materials problems have been breaking, and invented a patent in China, so the feasibility of its industry needed the guidance of theory.Based on the existing porous materials and Gasar porous metal materials preparation, performance and application prospects of the comparison, this paper point out that Gasar porous metal materials, in terms of performance, cost of manufacture and use of all aspects have excellent comprehensive Performance, and have important practical significance and economic value, as improved the development and applications of heat transfer in the field. In this paper, it is analyzed that air flow and heat transfer performance in Gasar porous metal materials by numerical simulation method, and it compared the different pore distribution and the matrix material on heat transfer properties of Gasar porous structure. Gasar porous materials by changing pore structure parameters, such as the porosity, pore size, pore length and pore shape and so on, and analysis of various parameters on heat transfer, pressure drop and heat transfer performance, and conducted the analysis of the structure optimization. Is also studied initial velocity of external conditions on Gasar porous structure heat transfer and drag performance. This research work was Gasar porous metal material as the industrialization of new heat transfer materials to provide a theoretical basis.The result of this study shows that:Pore structure of Gasar porous metal materials is simple and uniform pore size, it can flexibility matches and designs the material pore size, distribution, pore shape, heat transfer and mechanical strength, with features are obviously better than the other type of porous metal materials.
