From Logic Numerical Control to Computer Numerical Control, from the Radio tube NC, Transistor NC, the small and normal size Integrate Circuit (IC) NC to the small size Computer NC and Microprocessor NC, then to the Personal Computer NC nowadays, the Numerical Control technology of machine tools has come through six eras that is two phases. Each advancement of Numerical Control System is a qualitative leap in the mechanical manufactory industry.We chiefly survey the half closed-loop control mode which is integration, modularization, and network, such as the study and exploitation focus of the NC system exploitation and the machine tools manufacture that the NC system basing on the controller. The NC system actualizes the graphics of user interface, the visualization of science calculation, the diversification of the interpolation and compensation mode, the integration of inside high-powered Programmable Logical Controller (PLC) and multimedia technology.This article mainly based on the the urgent demand of the current petroleum well drilling profession to the pipe thread to process the engine bed, uses FANUC the 0i-TC numerical control engine bed control system; taking the pipe thread processes the engine bed feed control installment as the research object; the research of five elementary actions as numerical control feed equipment feed automaitcly: the chuck card tightened, feeding, the material turning (on a material, next to another material), the rejected material, the chuck pine opening. In order to realize the PLC procedure with these five elementary actions establishment, introduces the entire process method from the establishment project to the realization movement.This paper emphasis on the pipe thread processes the engine bed in the feed control installment aspect numerical control, as well as the feeding control installment control PLC establishment, this paper mainly contents as follows:(1) pipe thread processing engine bed numerical control system model choice; (2) pipe thread processing engine bed numerical control system I/O module choices; (3) newly built project method; (4) pipe thread processes the engine bed in the feeding aspect address assignment;(5) pipe thread processes the engine bed in the feed control installment aspect main PLC procedure; (6) PLC procedure counter-assembly method; (7) PLC procedure downloading method;(8) PLC program debugging method;(9) M yard realization method.
