As the development of offshore oil industry, most major offshore oil producers began to focus on the offshore drilling platform. Offshore drilling platform is the basic resource development facilities, production operations and life at sea base, which their safety performance is to ensure that offshore oil and gas production and operations personnel the importance of protection of personal safety. However, the marine environment is very complex and harsh, wind, waves, currents and tides and other uncertainties tend to load a variety of static and dynamic loads may threaten the safety of platform. As a large-scale complicated offshore steel structure withstanding heavy loads, the safety of whole platform is very important. It is necessary to check the hull strength to ensure safety.In this paper, with the finite element software ANASYS, static analysis of the project SHENGLI No.4 is performed and the displacement, stress distributing of the structure is researched. The FEA analysis result indicates that the local strength can meet the requirement of CCS rules for Building and Classing Mobile Offshore Drilling Unites (2005).The results can be utilized as reference in further detailed design for the structure. The research in this thesis can be reference to some extent in FEA of large-scale complicated structure, especially those withstanding complex loads.In order to meet the use requirements of "Bohai No.9"drilling platforms, the crane column structure was partially modified. To ensure the structural safety, the modified structure of "Bohai No.9" should have a the finite element analysis. Platform deck, bulkhead panels, crane pedestal so high times shell element SHELL93 simulation, longitudinal stringers, transverse contour web components, also with SHELL93 element simulation, and the remaining smaller aggregates such as the web height longitudinal deck, bulkhead stiffeners, etc., with the space beam element BEAM189 element simulation, the calculation of the platform and the base of the deformation, internal force, stress and so on.The results show that the intensity of local structure meets the CCS "mobile platform at sea level and built into the standard" requirements. In this paper, the design of the platform structure modeling analysis will further expand the theoretical basis for follow-up design, will also follow-up marine platform renovation and repair work has accumulated valuable experience.
