Almost 80% of Chinese municipal wastewater treatment plant using A2O, oxidation ditch, SBR and so on which are all based on the activated sludge method. So it's self.evident that the study on kinetics of activated sludge method is very useful. Only with the mastery of the removal kinetics of pollutant and the establishment of an appropriate model, we can optimum the operating parameters more faultlessly and theoretical. And bring substantial economic and social benefits to wastewater treatment plant.In this study, we use the operation and special experimental data of Yuxi municipal wastewater treatment plant in Yunnan Province to Analysis factors who affecting the effectiveness of denitrification in this wastewater treatment plant and establish the partitioned and integrated kinetics model of denitrification which based on the classical Monod equation through the rational use or avoid of these factors. The conclusion as follows:l.As the operation data from 2009 to 2010 show that the plant are operating stability, the effluent basically reached the level A Discharge Standard with a few days TN over standard.2.The factors who affecting the effectiveness of denitrification are temperature, C/N, pH. The rise of temperature and C/N is good for denitrification. Only when pH between 7-9, can running without Harmful effects.3.The partitioned kinetics model for denitrification in this process are: Ammoniation stage:A=A1 exp(-0.00001958 (R+r+1)Xt'),t'≤13.6 Nitrification stage:N=N0 exp(-0.00008431 (R+r+1)Xt"),t"≤9.4 Denitrification stage:Integrated kinetics mode:A1 exp(-0.00001958 (R+r+1)Xt')+N0 exp(-0.00008431 (R+r+1)Xt") Through simulation, we can Optimize the total reflux ratio (the most economic reflux ratio is 300%) and Give the maximum TN load of influent when the plant are executing level A Discharge standrad.
