The corrosion resistance and mechanical property of 0Cr17Ni4Cu4Nb stainless steel after different heat treatment processes were studied and the microstructures were also observed and analyzed by OM, SEM and XRD in this paper. The influence of microstructures after different heat treatments, including solution treatment, aging treatment and especially intermediate treatment on corrosion resistance and mechanical properties of the steel were also researched.The results indicated that the specimen with 60min solution treatment in 1040℃showed better corrosion resistance and mechanical property than 40min and 80min. In the range of 480℃~520℃(240min)/60min~240min(520℃), the hardness declined while the aging treatment temperature/time rising. But the specimen showed the best corrosion resistance and good comprehensive mechanical property while aging at 520℃for 240min. The influence of different intermediate treatments on the property of the steel was also investigated. The results showed that 815℃x30min was an optimizing intermediate treatment parameter for this stainless steel. Compared with the specimen without intermediate treatment, the microstructure of the steel became homogeneous and fine and more reversed austenite was formed when 815℃x30min intermediate treatment was taken before aging treatment. And the corrosion resistance and impact property of the steel were largely promoted, although the strength declined to some extent.
