The general mechanical press based on the crank– linkage– slider was widely used have lots of remarkable shortcomings, such as poor balance, bulky size, noise greatly, big friction loss, mechanical properties of curves unreasonable, and not facilitate the automatic control. However people have to select the hydraulic press, which is easy to cause environmental pollution, or the complex structure of the screw press, can't adapt to the requirements of the development of green manufacturing technology.For the above-mentioned disadvantage of the general mechanical press, combined with pneumatic transmission medium with such advantages as clean, can keep for a long time in the clamping force and don't consume energy, fast clamping action, according to the symmetry of the scientific concept of aesthetics, based on the rods reconfigurable design thought, one-step , two-step, and three-step force-amplifier mechanical increase force press driven by pneumatic muscle are designed respectively. major new research in the following:(1) Provide the necessary information for application of the pneumatic muscle in the different press through analysis the technology of the pneumatic muscle.(2)Put forward a series combination of the rods reconfigurable increase force institutions combined with pneumatic muscle, in order to resolve the technical issues of lacking of output force of the pneumatic muscle and the problem of limited structure. For the innovative design of mechanical force in the press, introduced the principle of work, give the formula of the different mechanics and technical performance graphic curve for reference of the engineering and technology.(3)Design a variety of press based on the rods reconfigurable increase force institutions driven by pneumatic muscle, and illustrate its working principle and technical characteristics for the application of the technology in the field of machinery.(4)Summarizes the problems of the research in this paper, the paper driven press of pneumatic tendons further development prospects, looking to the development of the press driven by pneumatic muscle.The press driven by pneumatic muscle in this paper is a press of green technology, which has the following prominent advantages: (1)Compared with hydraulic press , there is no environmental pollution.(2)Driven by the pneumatic muscle can have short energy transfer line, the overall costs can be reduced significantly.(3)The press will needn't a huge reducer just as that press driven by the motor rotating-linear motion conversion mechanism, thus it has compact structure and low manufacturing costs.
