In recent years, the quality of the injection molding is the most important and difficult in the research of the injection molding. The difficulty of injection molding quality control depends not only on the complex process dynamics and the unpredictability of material behavior related to the variation of temperature and pressure, but also on the lacking of the estimation of the relationship between part quality and process parameters. So , it's the premise of part quality control to study and model the relationship between injection-molded part quality and process parameters. The traditional injection molding is mostly according to workers'injection molding experience to set the parameters, then according to the results, try again. It is wasted of a lot of time and money in design and production. Therefore the plastic molding simulation technology is very vital significance to shorten new product development cycles, improve plastics quality, reduce production cost.Based on a large number of experimental basis, application Mldflow MPI (Insight the Plastic injection molding simulation software) for products simulation, combined with the control variables and orthogonal test two experimental method .Focus on the process of plastic injection molding process parameters on the quality of the product influence compared to the two parts. Using MPI to debugging mould, can greatly reducing the cavity and moulding-adjustment cycle. Based on the orthogonal experiment method ,research the melt temperature, injection pressure, filling speed, injection time and short glass fiber content on products quality, selection the most important influence. Through the single factor experiment design, research of each process parameters and short glass fiber content on the influence of the product quality detailed information. The main work of this paper include: (1) Orthogonal experiments based on Taguchi DOE, select the melt temperature, injection pressure, filling speed, injection time, short glass fiber content as main Process parameters on influence melt liquidity in injection process. Each injection molding process parameter selection five different levels, combined with the orthogonal experiment table values L25 (55) to 5 factors 5 levels of experiment, Use two kinds of materials with different melt liquidity in two different mould. Obtain approximate optimal process combination, as subsequent single factor experiment benchmark process Settings.(2) Based on the orthogonal experiment. To the melt temperature, injection pressure, injection molding speed, injection time, short glass fiber content and factors by single factor experiment, the actual injection experiments and the measurement of products inspection, the injection molding process parameters and short glass fiber content influence on the products quality .(3) Using injection molding simulation software MPI(Mldflow Plastic Insight), to simulation the injection products temperature and filling quantity simulation under different parameters and glass fiber content . To obtain that melt temperature, injection pressure, filling speed, injection time and short glass fiber content the influence of temperature and filling quantity.(4) Research injection molding process parameters of the product temperature and liquidity rules of the influence on the quality of find the best injection parameters have significant meaning. Can not only improve the product's quality, but also can reduce the cost of injection products and production cycle, greatly improving the product's competitiveness.
