The society quickly development,the molding industry is also continuous development and improvement,nowadays the molding industry become an important basic industries in our national economy,however the molding development starts very later in China,the molding design and manufacture is backward in highly developed countries.The plastic molding design,analysis and manufacture in our country mainly depends on designer's experience and personal technical skills.The molding design is reasonable or not and the product has defects or not,those things only to know is by trying molding time and time,so this made the cycle of mold manufacture is very long and the cost is very high.But using CAD and CAE technology could quickly improve the plastic mold design and the quality of plastic product.CAD technology can help designer to quickly design the all plastic mold from the plastic part and it causes the molding designer doesn't need spend most time to draw by hand and save time to think design method and creative good molding structure.CAE technology uses finite element method,range analysis method and boundary element method to analysis the molding flow process,molding pressure process,molding cooling process,also calculate product and stress distribution in molding,then predict product warp and improve plastic product structure and plastic product injection parameters.In this thesis uses the back cover of notebook as an example to analysis the CAD/CAE technology application in plastic product.Firstly,using Pro/e software to analysis the back cover's structure,next using Moldflow software to analysis the best injection gate,then using Pro/e software to draw mold structure.Finally,using Moldflow software to simulate the injection molding with orthogonal experiment method to analysis the best injection parameters: the melt temperature is 256?,the mold temperature is 80?,the injection time is 1.8s,the dwell time is 8s,the cooling time is 19 s,Then using the best injection parameters to simulate injection mold and get the product's total warpage is 0.8644,this figure is the smallest in orthogonal experimental table,which shows the best parameters are right.Then using the best parameters to do physical injection and get the physical product,measurement the product's warpage,we can see the data almost the same as the simulation data and the product meets the customer's requirement.Using this way can cause injection molding engineers no need to repeat to try machine and parameters,just through orthogonal experiment and Moldflow simulation can get the best injection molding parameters.
